You would probably find email access frustratingly unreliable. Like, sometimes it will go for many hours, even a day or two, without polling for new emails. and then using it. Sometimes certain messages will show up and the body will read "NULL", which my hunch says is due to some sort of message encoding that the email app doesn't understand. Battery life is pretty poor. I haven't had a Palm based cell, so I can't really compare to what you have now, but of the 3 smartphone OSes I have used, I'd place it somewhere right around the middle between the mediocre Windows Mobile and the silky smooth iPhone.
